Bangladesh opens bidding for 220 MW Sonagazi solar project

The project previously received backing from the Islamic Development Bank and follows Bangladesh’s new public-private framework for solar on public land. Bangladesh ended last year with 1,146 MW of solar capacity and recently introduced incentives including a 0% solar-sector tax rate until 2035.
