Rayzon and Navitas partner with Caelux for 10 GW of tandem solar modules in India

SolarNews Brief

Rayzon Solar and Navitas Solar have each signed five-year agreements with U.S.-based Caelux to develop and manufacture 5 GW of perovskite-silicon tandem modules in India. The combined 10 GW plan points to faster commercialisation of higher-efficiency module technology in one of the world’s largest solar markets.

The two Indian manufacturers will separately integrate Caelux’s energy-producing solar glass into perovskite-silicon tandem modules under five-year partnerships. Each agreement covers 5 GW, taking planned combined capacity to 10 GW. For India’s solar manufacturing sector, the deals matter because tandem technology could lift module performance while supporting domestic value creation beyond conventional crystalline-silicon assembly.
