Energy-Storage.News reports that Tesla will supply battery technology for Goyder Stage 2 while UGL handles balance of plant, high-voltage infrastructure, and commissioning support. The project is tied to South Australia’s Firm Energy Reliability Mechanism and is designed to provide eight-hour dispatchable capacity during system stress. It also underpins a 24/7 100 MW supply solution for BHP’s Olympic Dam, Carrapateena, and Prominent Hill copper mines from July 2029.
