Batteries and solar help Central Europe shed fossil fuel reliance

Central European countries are rapidly deploying solar power and battery storage systems to enhance energy security and reduce dependence on Russian fossil fuels. Solar capacity has doubled in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia over the past two years, while grid-scale battery projects are accelerating. This transformation is both reducing energy costs and cutting carbon emissions in the region.
