Fidra reaches financial close on 500 MW / 1,100 MWh West Burton battery project

The West Burton BESS has reached financial close and will be built on a former coal power station site in Nottinghamshire. At 500 MW / 1,100 MWh, it is designed to provide large-scale flexibility for the UK grid as renewables expand.
